TINTOSYSTEM – Transparent stains CCU200 series
CCU200 identifies a series of transparent stains with good light fastness over time. It is therefore indicated whenever it is needed to tint the wood while keeping the distinctive features of each essence clearly visible. It can be diluted with solvents characterized by different drying speeds, such as DL005 (very fast), DL001 (fast), DL034 (slow), DL008 (very slow), their mixtures or water. If it is necessary to define the grain, it is possible to add the concentrated stain with solventborne or waterborne binders.

TINTOSYSTEM – Stains for sealers and topcoats CC0100 series
CC0100 series includes mixture of colorants suitable for the tinting of clear coatings. This addition allows to change the color tone during the application of the primer or the last coat of topcoat. We recommend a percentage of use not exceeding 1%, higher additions could give an excessively hiding and “plasticized” appearance. To give liveliness to the desired color, the CC0100 series can be mixed with the CCU200 series.

FireScreen includes two fire retardant PU sealers. IT01PRIMER is a clear sealer for general use, while IGNIPRIMER30 is a white one. They are suitable for fireproofing substrates of various wood essences with the exception of ones veneered with thermoplastic glues or with a honeycomb cellular structure. The substrate must not be damp (max. 12%), it must be clean, free of dust or other substances that would limit penetration and consequently an optimal adhesion of the coating system. OTA7740G is a series of clear topcoats with excellent resistance to solar radiation, excellent gloss retention, good grain marking, smoothness to the touch, scratch resistance and water repellency properties. The high transparency makes these topcoats suitable for enrich the coated wood essence, keeping its distinctive characters clearly evident. OPBA7710G is a series of white topcoats also endowed with good smoothness to the touch, scratch resistance, excellent light fastness and atmospheric agents resistance. The good chromatic coverage allows to achieve a uniform surface.

NatureCare – LOW VOC topcoats
NatureCare includes two series of PU topcoats with very low emissions of VOC. OT120G is a series of clear topcoats, while OP610AF identifies a series of pigmented ones. They are suitable for closed grain coating systems, being characterized by a good solid content, good smoothness to the touch, while keeping a high scratch resistance. Excellent light fastness, guaranteed by careful selection and optimal dosage of special UV filters. The use of selected solvents allows to significantly reduce VOC emissions into the atmosphere, which not only makes it more eco-friendly, but also ensures better air quality both in the workplace and within the home environment.

FIRESCREEN – Fire retardant topcoats
FireScreen includes two series of PU topcoats fire retardant. IT01TOP is the series of clear matt topcoats, while IGNITOP identifies the series of pigmented topcoats. They are indicated when it is needed to apply a topcoat that gives a Class 1 or Class B fire retardancy to the product. The series is characterized by excellent smoothness to the touch, uniformity and coverage, good surface hardness and light fastness typical of polyurethane products. It is necessary that these topcoats are applied on clear IT01PRIMER or white IGNIPRIMER30, applied as per technical data sheet. They can be applied to fire retardant substrates of various wood essences with the exception of ones veneered with thermoplastic glues or cellular structure (honeycomb). The substrate treated with the sanded sealer must be clean, free of dust or other substances that would limit optimal adhesion.

OILS – Clear olis VS1 series
VS1 identifies three oil finish products intended for the protection of floors, furnishing accessories and shelves, and are particularly recommended for achieving a natural unpainted effect, guaranteeing good chemical and mechanical resistances. It penetrates effectively into the substrate, preservingthe wood structure from daily use and cleaning. It should be applied in two or three coats, the first directly on previously sanded raw wood, the second and the third on itself, if necessary, waiting that the previous coat is touch free. In the first coat it is possible to apply a waterborne and solventborne colorants, if the final colour of the substrate has to be changed.

- Peculiar features: VS1754 is characterized by a good solid content, which let it be particularly suitable when the treated flat parts require more protection from scratches and abrasions. Not suitable for flooring. VS1753 and VS-OIL, instead, have lower solid content and they are suitasbel for natural effects, especially on floors. They have good chemical and mechanical resistances. They can be tinted with the CIMseries of colorants.
OILS – Clear oils VS1 series
VS1 identifies two oil finishes intended for the protection of the substrates placed outdoor, and are particularly recommended for structures that are fully or partially exposed to solar radiation and atmospheric agents in particularly aggressive climates. It penetrates effectively into the support, preserving the wood structure from decay and consequent greying. It should be applied tinted in two or three coats, the first directly on previously sanded raw wood, the second and the third on itself, if necessary, waiting for it is touch dry. In the first coat it is possible to apply a tinted waterborne impregnating agent, in order to better protect the substrate to be coated.

Overcoating with at least one coat of the same product is mandatory. The first coat must be colored, the second can also be colorless. First coat, the tinted WIE8000 or WIE4000 series can also be used. Enriched with special additives able to protect the lignin from greying. They can be tinted with the CIM series of colorants.
